Fort Myers-Cape Coral, FL (1888PressRelease) February 09, 2011 - On Thursday, February 17th, Foot Solutions of Estero invites local residents to come out for a little dancing, a little work-out, and a lot of fun…all while helping area children and families in need. Foot Solutions of Estero will be hosting a "Body & Sole" Zumba event, in conjunction with a shoe drive to benefit local and national charities, Soles4Soles, RCMA, and Harvest Time Ministries.

The "Body & Sole" event will be held from 5pm-7pm on February 17th, and will include a free 30-minute Zumba class, led by certified Zumba instructor, Angie McConnell. Attendees will also be entered in a drawing for door prizes including gift baskets and a $50 gift certificate for Foot Solutions. There is no charge for the event, however, attendees are asked to bring in a pair of gently used shoes to be donated to children and families in need.

"We are very excited about this event!", said Chris Cole, Owner, Foot Solutions of Estero. "Recently, we've had a lot of people asking about Zumba shoes, so it sparked the idea to bring Zumba to the store in an effort to help promote our shoe drive. This will be a great opportunity for people to come out for a free, fun activity, get a bit of a work-out, and support some very worthy causes."

The Zumba event will be held in the Foot Solutions of Estero store, located next to Publix in the Corkscrew Village Plaza on the corner of U.S. 41 and Corkscrew Road. Those interested in attending must RSVP by February 11th. Space is limited, so slots will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. All participants who donate a pair of gently used shoes will receive the free Zumba class, be entered into the door prize drawings, and will receive a $15 gift certificate toward the purchase of new shoes.
