- (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2011 - Zappers London, UK - The meet up, co-hosted and sponsored by TCL and uTest UK, brought together testers from in and around London and even as far away as Scotland.
The event allowed the Zappers Community to network and showcase their software testing capabilities. Applications tested also included 'brain trainer' Luminosity.com
One Zapper felt that "it was good to meet some enthusiastic testers who give up their spare time to participate in such events. Very enjoyable overall".
The event also raised money for TCL's chosen charity, the NSPCC, through kind donations from attendees.
More and more companies are experiencing the benefits of live testing at Zappers events, witnessing first hand how on-demand virtual QA teams can get their application to market much quicker, launch higher quality products and control the cost of testing without long-term contracts.
Zappers believe in learning from each other and sharing testing knowledge to raise the standard of testing throughout the UK and internationally. More importantly they believe in having a good time doing this. One attendee particularly enjoyed the knowledge sharing element of the event, saying "We had two new testers on our team so it provided a useful opportunity to introduce them to our world".
Zappers events are free to enter. To attend an event or have your application featured, contact Holly Baynton at holly.baynton ( @ ) tcl-global dot com, or sign up at www dot zappers-community dot com dot
