Zambia Portland Cement Factory makes history in Masaiti- 2015
Dr. Rajan Mahtani is extremely pleased with the result that Zambezi Portland Cement has surpassed the estimated production by 1, 00, 000 tonnes for the year 2014.
- (1888PressRelease) February 10, 2015 - Zambia - The year 2015 has brought a new success story for Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. Zambezi Portland has surpassed the estimated production by 1, 00, 000 tonnes for the year 2014. The total production for the year 2014 stands at 4, 73, 985 tonnes.
The owner of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory, Dr. Rajan Mahtani is extremely pleased with the result and is motivated towards establishing a new lime plant in Masaiti. The estimated production capacity of the plant is close to 3, 60, 000 tonnes a year. However, with an increased demand due to housing projects in Masaiti the Portland Cement Factory has delivered a stupendous result.
Scott Gomes, a well-wisher of Dr. Rajan Mahtani commented, "Zambia is fortunate to be blessed with a son like Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Over the years, his Finance Bank has shown terrific performance and this year the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory has increased his credibility. He has been the hero of the nation for numerous reason. The news of lime plant in Masaiti is expected to create more employment opportunities for the locals in the next 24 months."
Confirmed reports have also suggested that Dr. Mahtani is looking forward to add a new dimension to his cement factory by introducing concrete block-making facility. This will help him to accelerate his pace of projects and offer a faster growing economy. The Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) has acknowledged the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory with ZS ISO 9001:2008 certification for maintaining the required quality in production.
