Zahra Universe and Dance4Life Team up to Fight HIV and Aids
Dance4Life Selects American Pop-Star Zahra Universe as Next Ambassador in the Fight Against HIV and Aids.
- (1888PressRelease) November 08, 2010 - American Pop-Singer Zahra Universe has just become the latest in the string of celebrity ambassadors for Dance 4 Life in the fight against HIV and Aids. Zahra was chosen especially by the country of Cameroon, which is the latest in African countries joining the fight.
Zahra Universe joins the ranks among other Dance4Life celebrity ambassadors such as Eryka Badu and DJ Tiesto to use music and dance as a means to combat HIV and Aids. As ambassador, Zahra will work locally on the grounds in Cameroon to bring about education to prevent the disease as well as awareness against the stigma of those infected. She will work on various projects throughout the country as well as travel to schools focusing on youth ages 13-19. In addition, Zahra will be joining the Dance4Life global mission to bring about 1 million agents for change by year 2014.
When asked about becoming an Ambassador, Zahra commented: " I just can't wait to get out there with all of my Dance4Life friends to sing, dance, and celebrate a positive turn in the fight against HIV and Aids!" She continued, "Dance4Life not only worlds toward prevention, but also as a guide for living with HIV/Aids and fighting against the stigma, which is a novel concept that brings people together for a more powerful positive message."
