Z'Tejas Announces Sizzling Summer Menu

Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) July 01, 2011 - As we approach the dog days of summer, Z'Tejas Southwestern Grill at South Coast Plaza is introducing a seasonal menu that is, at once, lighter and flavor filled, announced Executive Chef Daniel Stevens. Running from July 5 - August 21, the new summer fare includes such items as Chipotle marinated Ahi Ceviche Tacos with mango, jicama and watercress stuffed in crispy corn tacos shells and topped with toasted sesame seeds; Grilled Redfish with White Peach Salsa served atop a bed of sautéed summer vegetables; and smoked and slow-roasted St. Louis Pork Ribs smothered in a prickly pear chipotle BBQ sauce and topped with toasted sesame seeds. The new summer menu will be available both lunch and dinner.

Two new summer beverages will also mark their debut, each featuring premium Maestro Dobel Tequila. Peach Fever contains fresh peach purée, a splash of orange juice, house-made jalapeño syrup and a squeeze of lime; and the Dobel Diamond Smash features Herradura agave nectar and muddled lemon and mint leaves.
