Zarah relocated to the United States at the age of four. Raised in Maryland but currently residing in North Carolina, Zarah has been singing since the tender age of seven. Having taken interest at a young age, one could tell Zarah was driven to become a performer from early on. Zarah polished her vocal skills at Suitland's Performing Arts High School (Maryland) where Zarah was classically trained in vocal performance. Zarah's repertoire began to grow as Zarah began professionally training to dance at the age of six. Zarah had the opportunity to become a BET "Teen Summit" dancer and was fortunate to choreograph a number of musicals and dance showcases.
Zarah has performed at numerous event venues, the NFL Banquet and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC also The Fright House in New York. Zarah's career was influenced by Janet Jackson, Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Tracie Spencer and Terry Ellis, just to name a few.
