Your Time Publishing Recognizes, Read Across America Day, By Donating 2010 Catalog To Five New Orleans High Schools And Two National Organizations
Local Publishing Company donates their entire catalog to chosen local schools and mentoring programs.
- New Orleans, LA (1888PressRelease) March 03, 2011 - In recognition of Read Across American Day, March 2, Your Time Publishing, LLC of New Orleans is reaching out to schools in the area by donating copies of their titles. They chose six local high school, Abramson Science and Technology, John McDonogh, McDonogh 35 College Preparatory High School, Joseph S. Clark High School, George Washington Carver High School, local mentoring program Each One Save One and one international mentoring organization, Foundation for the Advancement of Woman Now (FFAWN).
Your Time Publishing understands that most schools, school teachers and school librarians wish for more money or supplies to enhance the learning experience for the students. They know that schools appreciate donations of learning materials, and wish they had more to give, and also hope that in the years to come they will be able to continue and enhance this venture.
The donated books were written by current and past local residents, Paulette Jones, Nicole Plain, Christy Chapman and Patricia Dixon. They hope the donated books will bring at least some inspiration, motivation or education to the students who come into contact with them.
