She has created the characters History and Heritage Hanks a brother and sister duo from New Orleans. These two beautiful and intelligent characters will go on many journeys as they explore the possibilities. This is the first in the series as they discover the power of knowing your history and living your heritage.

There will be a meet and greet with Kima L. Richard, the author of "Possibilities" on June 18, 2011, 12pm to 4pm at Christian Fellowship Family Worship Center, 5816 E. Judge Perez Dr. Violet, LA. 70092. There will be a book signing, face painting, games for the children, musical guests and guest speakers. Also food and concessions will be offered for a donation. Kima Lucille Richard is a resident of St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana; she is a Cum Laude graduate of Southern University at New Orleans and is currently a graduate student at Our Lady of Holy Cross College, where she is pursuing a Masters degree in Counseling. Kima aims to create a series of History and Heritage books that promote self-love, positive self-image, cultural awareness, and cultural pride. "Possibilities" is the first book in the History and Heritage Series.
