Freshmen author Ms. Terry pins her first children's book about her beloved pet, Sheba.

Your Time Publishing has signed author Ms. Terry from the Bay area in California to publish her first book "Sheba's Miracle" about the antics that got Sheba into a little trouble, and how what felt like divine intervention saved her. This story was so inspirational to Ms. Terry she had to share it with everyone. She said "Those who have lost their pets will understand why I had to write this book."
The book will be released on May 21 in recognition of National Dog Bite Prevention Week. Sheba was in a very stressful situation which could have caused her to respond in an unusually aggressive manner which could have been detrimental to those involved. But, thanks to the miracle that transpired the outcome was truly amazing. Everyone should have a "Sheba" in their life.
May 18-24 is National Dog Bite Prevention Week in the United States. A dog is often a child's best friend, but it can sometimes engage in a behavior which may lead to bite in certain circumstances. Its victims are usually children 10 years and under, and bites are more common during the summer season.
There are many things that can be done to prevent dog bites, ranging from training and socializing your pet to educating your children on how - or if - they should approach a dog. Information and education are the best solutions to this public health problem. California, the most populous U.S. state, had the highest number of claims from dog bites in 2012 at 1,919. The attacks cost an average of $33,709 in the state.
