- San Luis Obispo-Paso Robles, CA (1888PressRelease) August 09, 2011 - Combine the gardens of a Victorian estate, a nighttime sky full of stars and a classic 80s movie and you've got the 4th Annual YPNG Movie Night; a unique fundraising event taking place at the Historic Jack House and Gardens, on Friday, August 19, in support of the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County.
"YPNG has always been committed to supporting the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County," said Tyler Benson, YPNG Special Events Director. "Movie night is such a wonderful way to show that support, raise awareness and raise funds."
The film selected for this year's YPNG Movie Night, which will take place from 6:00pm - 10:30pm, is the Indiana Jones flick Raiders of the Lost Ark. Along with the movie presentation, local beer and wine, dinner items and concessions will be available for purchase. And to further support fundraising efforts, attendees are invited to participate in a raffle with prizes including restaurant gift certificates and wine packages.
"From ticket sales to raffle prizes to the concessions, all of our proceeds go directly to the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County," said Benson. "And we also ask attendees to donate a canned item at the door."
Those interested in attending the YPNG Movie Night, can purchase ticket packages online at YPNG.org or pay at the door the night of the event. Ticket packages include: Ark of the Covenant Package: $15 for one movie ticket and one raffle ticket; Temple of Doom Package: $25 for one movie ticket, 15 raffle tickets and one drink; and the Holy Grail Package: $60 with two movie tickets, 40 raffle tickets and two drinks.
