Young Dutch designer (23) launches new invention on Kickstarter

"The inspiration behind Heel Up came basically from having a taste for high fashion on a university student's budget. I made the first Heel Up prototypes with the goal of dressing up an old pair of my heels to wear to a few holiday parties and realised that not only did it dress up my old, drab heels, but jazzed up my whole outfit", said Dominique Michon of Heel Up. "I believe that every woman needs only one pair of shoes".
A young designer and entrepreneur, Dominique has already launched her product in international markets and was selected for the VIVA400 entrepreneur award in 2014. The 2014/2015 Heel Up collection features eight handmade designs, including Do not Cheetah on Me, Furry French, Black Incredible, Desire Me, Flora, Ms. Metal, Du Freaque Chic and Sweet Flamingo. Heel Ups feature a small elastic strap that can be easily wrapped around the heel, providing easy application and an instant fashion boost that lasts throughout the day and into the night. All Heel Ups are endlessly made of high quality materials and are endlessly reusable.
