YKMEX Acquires Interactive Consulting Services
Expands consulting services and service offerings.
- (1888PressRelease) April 18, 2013 - Yokohama Mercantile Exchange (YKMEX) announced today that it has acquired Interactive Consulting Services, a leading provider of interactive education and thought leadership for directors and executive officers of publicly traded companies. The new subsidiary will operate as Interactive Consulting Services, with Edward Bergman serving as its president.
Reaching a community of more than 43,000 directors and C-suite officers, the acquisition of Interactive Consulting Services advances YKMEX's goal of expanding its board education capabilities to public companies around the world.

Delivering innovative products and superior services to clients globally is a prime objective of YKMEX, and Interactive Consulting Services will play a prominent role in helping to develop and distribute educational programs to meet that objective for directors and C-suite officers.

YKMEX and Interactive Consulting Services premiered "This Week in the Boardroom," a weekly on-demand web program covering strategic, regulatory, and governance issues. Based on the success of this effort, there are currently plans to introduce new programs and content critical to director education.
