  • (1888PressRelease) June 14, 2013 - (Kingston) -- Solamon Energy Corp is pleased to announce the company will now be attending the InterSolar Europe conference and trade show being held this month in Munich, Germany, June 17-20, 2013. Jay Yeo, President, will attend the show while on a whirlwind senior-level tour of Europe, with additional stops for him planned in Spain and Belgium, as well as Germany.

Intersolar Europe takes place annually at Messe München. It is the world's largest exhibition for the solar industry and its partners. In 2012, 1,909 international exhibitors and 66,000 trade visitors attended Intersolar Europe. The exhibition focuses on the areas of photovoltaics, production technologies, energy storage and solar thermal technologies.

"It's a great place to meet leading solar industry manufacturers, distributors and partners operating on a global level," says Yeo. "I don't know how many of the 400 speakers I will have a chance to hear, but I look forward to the numerous relevant discussions related to critical industry topics such as new technological, market and political developments."

The European Commission (EC) announced on June 4th it would impose provisional anti-dumping duties on imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and key components (i.e. cells and wafers) originating in or consigned from China, making these imports subject to registration. This highly controversial matter, for example, will be discussed at Intersolar Europe.
