Yale UK Announces Partnership With Victim Support
Yale UK and Victim Support join forces to help victims of crime.
- (1888PressRelease) May 19, 2012 - Victim Support is a charity in England and Wales which aims to help victims and witnesses of crime by raising awareness of their needs and by delivering dedicated services to them.
The partnership between Victim Support and Yale targets both sides of crime; helping to prevent crime and giving support to victims after a crime has taken place. Yale's comprehensive range of products will address the physical side of safety and Victim Support will be offering the emotional, intangible assistance.
Yale will work with Victim Support on some joint fundraising activities, and product discounts and expert security advice are both planned for the future. , Product discounts are currently being finalized to allow Victim Support to purchase at lower rates and there will be special seasonal offers for volunteers who wish to buy Yale security products for their own home and family. The partnership's next steps will be to accelerate the campaign with potential joint research, London Olympics safety information, "Burglary in Britain" campaigns and other promotions and discount offers.
As part of the partnership, Yale will also be writing a regular Ask The Experts column in Support Network, helping to answer the security questions and dispel some of the common security and safety myths for Victim Support volunteers and employees.
