The single is called Vibe Vendetta.

Poppy Seed is a Canadian artist with a story.... a real story of survival. A native of Vancouver, British Columbia who has always had the ambition and the dream to lead him through the challenges he has had to endure in life. "My story is a story of hardship", says Poppy Seed.

Poppy Seed recalls a very rough & emotional coming of age. He left the comfort of his parents home at a very young age to try to make it on his own, and quickly realized that it was much more difficult than he originally anticipated.

Shoddy living conditions, drugs, the hustle to survive and the street life were just some of the influences that Poppy Seed has had to battle. Looking back 'it was quite the chapter of my life' reminisces Poppy Seed. "Some people just don't make it out".

"I've been up and I've been down. Some wounds have healed, some are left in the form of scars and some still bleed."

Yet, amongst all this chaos, Poppy Seed had loyal friends, which he refers to as his crew. His crew consisted of various cultures and helped shape his appreciation of music. "We used to always have a beat box and a cipher going! It's funny how Hip Hop was the common denominator and the glue to our misfit crew". Hip Hop was a vibe we could relate to and feel a deep comfort. I fell in love. It was raw. It was from the soul of an underdog. One who wasn't weak but was suppressed... judged and was deemed guilty before any investigation. I felt this. I related to this immensely. This was my life to a tee.

Music became Poppy Seed's passion. It became a release for all the stress and hardships of his life. All the things that we are taught to keep to ourselves, but things most people can relate to. Poppy Seed is an artist that creates without boundaries, transforms emotion into words. His true creative love is for writing memorable lyrics and orchestrating on-point melodies consisting of a mixture of commercial pop, hip hop, R&B and a twist of down south soul.

Poppy Seed says, "Speak of truth in your music. Express things that you wouldn't even tell your best friend. People are hurting the same as you and they need some truth in their lives. Something to relate to. "

From the West Coast streets, to construction, to business owner, to singer, songwriter, performer. Poppy Seed is now bringing his vibe to the music scene.

Poppy Seed has been busy writing and collaborating in the studio for many months now. Like writing a diary, Poppy Seed has documented his life with music.
