Xin Xing Environmental Receives First Flustix Plastic-free Product Certification for Coated Paper in Asia from TÜV Rheinland
Flustix certification includes plastic-free, partial plastic-free, and recycled product certification. DIN CERTCO is a certification body under the TÜV Rheinland Group.
- (1888PressRelease) November 04, 2021 - On October 29, TÜV Rheinland Greater China awarded Shanghai Xin Xing Environmental Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xin Xing Environmental”) Asia’s first Flustix Plastic-free Product certificates by DIN CERTCO for sugarcane paper and woodpulp paper with adhesives. DIN CERTCO is the certification body within TÜV Rheinland. Representatives from both parties attended the online ceremony, including Huang Haifeng, Chairman of Xin Xing Environmental, and Wice Wang, General Manager of TÜV Rheinland Greater China Softlines.
Huang Haifeng stated: "Our biobased plastic-free paper with water-based Glycan adhesives have successfully obtained certification. In addition to the hard work of our R&D team, this is also inseparable from the help and support from TÜV Rheinland.”
In his speech, Wice Wang declared: “Many consumers are cautious about environmental and recycling concerns regarding use of plastic, and they are unaware of the common practice of using plastic linings in food packaging. Through Flustix Plastic-free certification, manufacturers will be able to prove their products contain no plastics via independent third- party verification.”
