Xhaferr Placed Third At Desert Warrior Challenge 2014
The Head Coach at Be Fit, Xhaferr Gixhari emerged third at the inaugural Desert Warrior Challenge 2014 held in Dubai.
- (1888PressRelease) June 20, 2015 - The Desert Warrior Challenge 2015 took place at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on April 24. Most people may remember that the inaugural Desert Warrior Challenge, which is one of the top events in the region's sporting calendar, was held on October 17, 2014 at Jebel Ali Shooting Club in Dubai.
Xhaferr Gixhari, the Head Coach of Be Fit, the health and fitness company belonging to the Be Unique Group of Dubai, emerged third at the 2014 Challenge. He was among the nearly 2,000 participants of different nationalities who battled their way through the different courses, taking on 22 challenging obstacles which were placed along their way. The event saw participants from six different countries.
Apart from the Desert Warrior Challenge, the twenty-eight-year-old Xhaferr has also taken part in some of the toughest and most challenging obstacle course competitions in the region such as Abu Dhabi Fitness Championship, Brawl Crossfit Competition and the world famous Spartan Race, which he has admitted that he does "just for fun".
Xhaferr is a person who had introduced his own brand of fitness instructions to Dubai, a combination of urban Crossfit, peak performance and weight training combined with no nonsense strategies and approaches. The Albanian-born athlete and personal trainer keeps a strict regime himself, and taking part in the above mentioned obstacle courses are part of that regime.
Having enrolled to study blood analysis and sports coaching at Tirana University, Albania in 2008, Xhaferr gained his Diploma in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction. A competitive basketball player as well, he carved out his niche in personal training in Spain, practising street workouts and becoming active in Crossfit. In 2011, he returned to Albania where he carried out coaching in Crossfit and HIIT workouts in different gym locations while continuing his higher studies in sports.
In January 2014, he moved to Dubai to establish Be Fit UAE, the company with the best personal trainers in Dubai. There, he has now amassed a number of high profile clients including Caleb and Codie Walker from the cast of Fast and Furious.
Xhaferr is focused on building his business and improving his knowledge in nutrition while maintaining a constant presence in obstacle courses. He owes his physical health and chiselled exterior to sheer discipline, careful training and unbreakable mental attitude.
