- Phoenix-Mesa, AZ (1888PressRelease) December 17, 2011 - An auto wrap shop in Phoenix, AZ. 1st Impressions Truck lettering, is scheduled to start training to become 3M certified. 3M a Minnesota based company, is one of the premier manufacturers and suppliers of materials to the vinyl lettering and vehicle wrap industry.
As the inventors of pressure-sensitive tapes over 80 years ago, 3M has decades of experience in chemical engineering. Few companies in the world can compare with 3M in the demanding continuous coating and drying processes.

The whole 1st Impressions team is scheduled to travel from Phoenix to Minnesota right after the first of the year for the certification. GM at 1st Impressions, Scott Addel, says with a grin, "I'm looking forward to the certification, but the timing is all wrong. We endure the intense summer heat here in Phoenix just to get to the 80 degree winters, but going to Minnesota at this time of year is all backwards."
