Sonic Emotion Encourages Fans to Nominate Deserving Schools; Donation to be Made to Winner's Music Education Program.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2012 - A nationwide survey (2010) by the Gallup organization found that 95 percent of Americans believed music was a key component in a child's education; 80 percent agreed involvement in music programs made participants more intelligent and 88 percent believed music education helped teach children discipline. However, according to the same study, in the last five years, the number of children with access to music education programs in publicly funded schools has declined by 50 percent due to state and federal budget cuts.
