World Series MVP Participates In Baseball Performance And Conditioning Workshop

- Portland-Vancouver, OR-WA (1888PressRelease) October 23, 2010 - World Series MVP and Golden Glove Award Winner, Scott Brosius will participate in a Baseball Performance & Conditioning Workshop from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20 at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. AQx Sports is hosting the event, which features an innovative Roundtable Discussion & Press Conference that includes: Scott Brosius; Cincinnati Reds physical therapist and rehab coordinator, Brad Epstein; Cincinnati Reds athletic trainer, Patrick Serbus; former medical coordinator in the Baltimore Orioles organization, Guido Van Ryssegem; and Dr. Garry Killgore, one of the world's leading experts on aquatic athletic training.
In the Roundtable Discussion & Press Conference at 11:30 a.m., these five professionals will discuss how baseball performance and conditioning can be maximized with the proper usage of aquatic training. They will answer guest and participant questions about playing and working in the major leagues, preventing over-use injuries, recovering from injuries, getting players back on the field sooner, and anything baseball or aquatic-training related.
Baseball coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and select players are invited to partake in this exciting Conditioning Workshop. The workshop begins with an introduction and explanation of the AQx training system for baseball players by Dr. Killgore and Scott Brosius. Participants in the event will also have the opportunity to get in the pool and try out the AQx gear, drills, exercises, and techniques. The workshop will conclude with closing remarks from the speakers and giveaways including three Scott Brosius-signed baseballs and free AQx gear. The workshop costs $100 for the day, is limited to 36 participants and closes November 13, 2010.
