World of Beer Gears Up for Arizona Craft Beer Week
World of Beer (WOB) Tempe, Gilbert and Tucson locations will be hosting events throughout Arizona Craft Beer Week, February 15-22, 2014.
- Tucson, AZ (1888PressRelease) February 04, 2014 - Arizona craft beer lovers, get ready to quench your thirst with the largest tap takeover Arizona has ever seen! Admission is free at all events and open to the public, ages 21 and up.
"The craft beer community is thriving in Arizona, and we are so excited to have this opportunity to showcase everything that some our favorite local breweries have to offer," said JP Watts, WOB Arizona Craft Beer Buyer. "Arizona Craft Beer Week is going to be a blast with events every day, live music, and great beer!"
Guests are welcome to enjoy live music every evening beginning at 8pm. Games, appearances from brewery partners, and incredible tap takeovers from local Arizona breweries will be featured daily. The highlight of WOB's Arizona Craft Beer Week events will be Arizona's largest tap takeover, ever, featuring more than 80 Sierra Nevada beers on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from noon - 6 p.m. at World of Beer Gilbert.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18
Gilbert: Green Flash Brewing spotlight featuring Palte Wrecker, Serrano Chili Double Stout, Candela Rye Barleywine 2012, Belgian Brown, East Village Pilsner, 30th Street Pale Ale, Black IPA. Visitor Chuck Silva of Green Flash Brewery.
Tempe: Goose Island spotlight featuring Bourbon County Stout, Bourbon County Barley Wine, Lolita & more.
Tucson: Deschutes Brewing spotlight featuring Abyss, Black Butte 25, a Great Lakes Brewing collaboration class of '88 smoked porter, a Goose Island collaboration class of '88 Belgian ale and a visit from one of the brewers, Abe.

Gilbert: Deschutes Brewing takeover spotlight featuring Abyss, Black Butte 25, a Great Lakes Brewing collaboration class of '88 smoked porter, a Goose Island collaboration class of '88 Belgian ale and more.
Tempe & Tucson: Oskar Blues CAN'd Aid Foundation fundraiser & spotlight benefiting the Colorado Flood Relief Fund. Includes Oskar Blues core beers as well as a variety of Ten Fidy beers including nitro, rum barrel aged and whiskey barrel aged.

Gilbert & Tucson: A Night of Lunacy: Mudshark Brewing Lunacy spotlight featuring eight varieties of Lunacy.
Tempe: Barrel Aged Tap Takeover featuring more than 50 barrel-aged beers.

Gilbert: Rogue Ales spotlight introduces Rogue spirits to WOB Gilbert's craft cocktail menu.
Tempe: Deschutes Brewing spotlight featuring Abyss, Black Butte 25, a Great Lakes Brewing collaboration class of '88 smoked porter & Goose Island collaboration class of '88 Belgian ale. Special visit from Abe of Deschutes Brewing.
Tucson: Odell Brewing Luau and spotlight featuring a variety of Odell beers as well as a special brew called Odell Luau; a wheat beer brewed by WOB staff members JP Watts and Zach Fowle in collaboration with Odell Brewing described as a Crème Brûlèe Stout.
