World Guide Publishing acquires Notting Hill Publishing and relaunch company in 2016 in London
T.R. Threston, C.E.O. of World Guide Publishing has announced that the company is nearing completion of it's relaunch with new headquarters in London and the acquisition of Notting Hill Publishing.
- (1888PressRelease) September 18, 2015 - After nearly a year in limbo and restructuring, publishing firm World Guide Publishing is announcing today that the company will be relaunching in 2016, and, it has acquired Notting Hill Publishing. In addition, World Guide Publishing is announcing the company will now be headquartered in London, but, will keep New York as its satellite office.
In a statement T.R. "Tina" Threston, C.E.O. of World Guide Publishing said "It's been a busy year behind the scenes, and, we've taken what we have learned to date, and, have streamlined the company to be more user friendly for consumers interested in our publication; and, we have trimmed the staff to the bear minimum with the intent of building up based on quality and not quantity." She went on to say "Many people are ashamed to admit mistakes, and, it's from our mistakes that we learn how to grow and improve. I've learned so much from past errors and mistakes, and, I am confident that our new slow and steady pace will be far more effective than trying to take on everything at once."
When asked about the acquisition of Notting Hill Publishing, Threston said "I have been in talks with Elizabeth Brown (C.E.O. of Notting Hill Publishing) and, we agreed over a year ago that having World Guide Publishing acquire Notting Hill Publishing (which specializes in cookbooks) was beneficial to both companies. Notting Hill Publishing will continue to publish under that label, but, will simply become of a part of the World Guide Publishing family. Many publishing companies have several divisions, and, we're no different. It is a win-win situation for all involved." The finalized acquisition of Notting Hill Publishing by World Guide Publishing took place on September 15, 2015.
Finally, when asked why move the World Guide Publishing company headquarters to London, England, Threston said "In order to compete globally, we need locations in both New York and London, and, many factors (including personal) came into play as decisions were made where to actually headquarter and this time London is simply a better fit. We are keeping the New York office as a satellite, but, will be moving to a new location within Manhattan, and, we plan to further expand with an additional satellite office in Los Angeles either in late 2016 or early 2017."
World Guide Publishing is an independent publisher of books, magazines, and, online newspapers. It is the parent company of Notting Hill Publishing with offices in London, England,UK and New York, NY, USA.
