(1888PressRelease) June 07, 2015 - Green Watch is a youth initiative of few of the researchers, marketers and activists in environment industry. Importance of environmental protection, afforestation, biodiversity, conservation of natural resources has become crucial these days. Environmental degradation, depletion of natural resources, carbon footprint, GHG emissions, natural disasters etc. have become cause of immense concern in front of world community. It is the responsibility of all the stakeholders to save mother earth against all the evil business practices happening worldwide. There is a lack of knowledge and awareness about various ill effects, human and other species can face due to environmental degradation.

Compliance of green policies and careful consideration of all the factors relating to sustainability is the need of the hour. Gradually the environmental policies, regulation and environmental policy compliance are getting stringent. Various initiatives, policies and programmes are undertaken in the process of disseminating the information about environmental impacts and make the stakeholders aware about it. Consideration of people, planet and profit (3Ps) provides the basis of sustainable development. Satisfaction of all the stakeholders and care for environment is the strategy for any business to sustain in a long run. Policy of reduce, reuse and recycle should always be in focus in the business processing. For a prosperous green world, governments, businesses and civil society organizations with other stakeholders must come forward to tackle this challenge of climate change.

The initiative thus taken by Green Watch in order to disseminate information and knowledge, enhance awareness about sustainability management practices all over among all the stakeholders. This global monthly update would try to report various activities, initiatives, green innovation and technology, case studies, promotion of green enterprises, policy analysis, address the roles regarding natural resources management, renewable energy, sustainable development, green marketing, responsible business management etc.

World Environment Day (WED) 2015; Green Watch ,conducted the first successful debate, the debate has been attended by various nongovernmental organization representatives, students, environmental consultants, socio economic experts, civil society organization representatives and others to discuss, learn and enhance the knowledge about the scope of environmental degradation and socio economic aspect of climate change. The gathering discussed about various aspects of environmental degradation viz. global warming, greenhouse gas emission and carbon footprints and talked about the mitigation techniques. The increasing fossil fuel dependency and carbon emission thereby was one of the most important causes of concern. Energy independence and focusing on the renewable energy specifically solar was one the basic objectives of the debate.

Renewable energy is the future. Enhancing the effectiveness of renewable energy and productivity would surely do wonders in sustaining a green growth economy. Increasing forestation and awareness also play a crucial role in mitigating ill impacts of environment and maintaining the socio ecological balance. The memorandum to save the natural environment has been sent to various governmental and nongovernmental organizations to start working on ground. The Green Watch Community has launched first of its free access journal on environmental aspects only, one of the first such initiative taken by in the name of "Green Watch". The basic objective of this initiative is enhancing awareness and taking care for environment among the people especially children and youths. The community is committed to bring responsible backbones (in the form of responsible youths) in the coming years to maintain the ecological biodiversity. The green community from various backgrounds pledge about the initiatives for increasing environmental awareness, active participation in forestation, become a responsible consumer and contributes in the process of achieving the millennium development goals set by United Nations.
