Woodbury University Trustees Elect Recent Graduate Jason A. Earnhardt to Board
With Three Degrees from Woodbury, Earnhardt Lauded for Understanding Challenges Facing Today's Students.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2013 - Three-time Woodbury University (www.woodbury.edu) graduate Jason A. Earnhardt has been named a member of the university's Board of Trustees, Board Chairman David St. Amant announced today.
Earnhardt was elected as the Board's Recent Graduate Trustee and will serve a three-year term on the 29-member Board.
Earnhardt received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with honors in Finance in 2009, earned a master's degree in Business Administration in 2012, and earlier this year graduated with a master's degree in Organizational Leadership - all from Woodbury. In 2007, he studied abroad at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China.
"As a recent student and graduate, Jason Earnhardt offers a unique perspective on the challenges facing students as they enter the university, pursue an education and work to build a career in today's fast-changing global economy," said St. Amant. "We look forward to having such a capable representative of our student body as a Trustee."
Earnhardt currently serves as a principal, project manager and lead designer with The Trident Group; Prajukt Designs, a Los Angeles-based boutique graphic design firm.
Like many Woodbury graduates, he worked his way through school, serving with Wells Fargo Bank, Lockheed Federal Credit Union and, most recently, with US Bank, where he was a senior relationship manager.
"Jason is a shining example of the kind of student leader who is highly motivated, loves learning, and pursues his interests with a passion that ensures success in whatever he does," said Luis Maria R. Calingo, Woodbury University President.
