On Jan. 18, Woodbury University (www.woodbury.edu) will seek to temper that anxiety with actionable information, in a financial aid workshop open to the community.

All high school students, transfer students and DREAM Act students are welcome to attend and bring their parents. English, Spanish and Armenian-speaking admissions and financial aid professionals will be available to answer questions regarding applying to and paying for college. The event is free; prospective attendees are requested to RSVP to ensure that sufficient breakfast, lunch and seats are available for everyone.
