- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) April 09, 2015 - The Boston Chapter of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) creates awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness Month by educating women on staying safe.
Too often women encounter unsafe situations. Statistic show that a woman now 21 years old has a 1 in 4 chance of experiencing a violent crime in her lifetime. Taking responsibility and educating yourself is the first step in staying safe.
Join the professional women of the NAPW Boston Chapter at their April 22nd event on learning how to become more aware, more prepared and how to protect yourself.
The interactive instruction will highlight tips on; avoiding being an easy target, how to be safer and more aware of your surroundings, how to use verbal boundary settings and de-escalation techniques, and basic interactive instructions on self defense tactics.
