Tonia R. McCoy of the Small Business Administration's (SBA)Baltimore District will describe various programs for small business, such as WOSB and EDWOSB- how they are created and managed by SBA- and how to participate in them.
Ann Sullivan of WIPP will present an insider's view of what it took to get the actual WOSB Program law enacted, what WIPP is and how it grew from a handful of business women to an organization representing over 1,000,000 business women nationwide that, as a true non-partisan organization, is now regularly involved in legislative efforts in Congress and at the White House level on issues that affect business women and owners.
Gloria Larkin will also moderate a panel of three successful women who are winning millions in business with the government. They are Janet Amirault, CEO, Software Consortium; April Wennerberg, Project Masters, Inc.; and, Anthie Zairis, President, Group Z, Inc.
