Women in eDiscovery provides women the opportunity to help each other grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.

Once again, the Masters Conference has teamed up with Women in eDiscovery to offer special pricing and educational sessions at its upcoming conference. The theme of the Masters Conference 2012 on October 8-10 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. is Information Convergence: Creating Synergy Between Compliance, Discovery and Security. Experts will explore and share what leading corporations and law firms are doing today to remain compliant to government regulations. Sessions will cover the complexities and risks of information security and offer methodologies of protection and proper protocol. The conference will feature thought-leader discussions on what the future holds for discovery and will also offer management strategies that will focus on information convergence, technology and integration, financial planning and adherence to FRCP.

Tuesday, October 9, at 3:00 PM Eastern, Women in eDiscovery will hold a session at the Masters Conference titled, "Women Thought Leaders." Members and Masters Conference attendees will learn the latest tips and tricks in eDiscovery and how you can integrate cloud computing and Web 2.0 into your strategy. They will also hear about key issues facing legal, compliance and IT professionals involved in supporting eDiscovery processes.

Special Guest Moderator is Laura Zubulake, author of the book "Zubulake's e-Discovery: The Untold Story of my Question for Justice." Panelists include Shawnna Childress, co-founder of Women in eDiscovery, Managing Consultant at IBM, and author of the book "eDiscovery Plain and Simple: A Plain English Crash Course in eDiscovery" (AuthorHouse, 2009); Zelda Samara Owens, Six Sigma Green Belt, Sr. Vice President at Strategic Legal and Women in eDiscovery New York Director; and Susan Taylor, Lead Project Manager at USIS | LABAT; and Lana Schell, co-founder of Women in eDiscovery and Manager of Channel Partnerships at Content Analyst.
