Women in Cloud and Accenture Partner to Deliver World Class Coaching to Women Tech Founders
Women in Cloud and Accenture partner to deliver a first of its kind coaching program designed to support women tech founders in accelerating their growth in the enterprise industry through one-on-one coaching from Accenture leaders.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2022 - Women in Cloud (WIC), an economic development organization dedicated to advancing ESG and gender inclusion in technology, recently partnered with global technology company Accenture to deliver a first of its kind coaching program for women tech founders.
Designed to support women tech founders in accelerating their growth in the enterprise industry, the program matches women tech founders with Accenture leaders who will provide strategic one-on-one coaching and advice on product-market fit and industry alignment.
“We are pleased to be working with Women in Cloud to help accelerate cloud and AI-based solutions adoption among female founders in the billion dollar industries,” said Ashley Miller, Managing Director of Technology and Innovation at Accenture. “Our coaching sessions and learning activities will help us identify opportunities for female entrepreneurs while creating an environment where our leaders can drive industry change.”
Tech founders and coaches have been strategically matched based on similar industry experience to ensure the greatest benefit to participants. Over the next three months, the founders will meet with their designated Accenture leader for a total of 8 hours of committed coaching on refining product market fit, developing industry partnerships, and finding and acquiring customers.
“It is Women in Cloud and Accenture's collective goal to ensure that the women tech founders enrolled in the program are strategically positioned to successfully build million dollar businesses in industries adopting cloud and AI solution”, said Chaitra Vedullapalli, President of Women in Cloud. “One success story breeds multiple success stories and we look forward to seeing the benefits of this program for both the founders in our network and our partners at Accenture.”
"It's our goal at Women in Cloud and Accenture to help women tech founders grow their businesses by strategically positioning them to succeed," said Chaitra Vedullapalli, president of Women in Cloud. "We're excited to see how this program will benefit our Fortune Brands, Accenture, network partners and the founders they work with."
The tech founder coaching program marks one of many instances where Accenture and WIC have teamed up to connect emerging tech startups with Accenture leaders to accelerate industry access and opportunities. Recently, Accenture has pursued mentorship programs with two WIC accelerator startups, and has served as speakers panelists at various WIC events. Accenture has also been an integral part of WIC’s Fortune100 Lunch and Learn sessions, a networking experience designed to open the doors for leading fortune companies and brands to connect with technology business builders.
