WOF, the High-profile Event in July

- (1888PressRelease) July 21, 2011 - 9th Wenzhou Int'l Optics Fair, China (WOF for short) was held on 6-8 July, 2011 at Wenzhou Int'l Convention and Exhibition Center, P.R.China. It was hosted by Wenzhou Municipal People's Government and Zhejiang Optometric & Optical Association and organized by Wenzhou Glasses Chamber of Commerce and Wenzhou Donnor Exhibition Co., Ltd.
As the top event in optical industry, WOF 2011 covered a full range of optical products, glasses, frames, instruments, equipments and accessories. It attracted 350 exhibitors from Wenzhou (China Glasses Production Base), Yuhuan (China Glass Spare Parts Production), Linhai (Sunglasses Production Base), Danyang (China Glasses Production Base), Xinhe, Hebei (Glasses Cases Production Base), Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen etc. During three days' exhibition, the organizing committee received 9,036 professional buyers including 660 foreign buyers. The visiting number reached 2,5048 person time.
During the exhibition, splendid activities were held cocurrently to rich buyers' WOF trip.
♣ Face to Face Talk Between Retail Purchasers from NOSA and Exhibitiors
The 3rd National Optical Strategy Alliance Matchmaking Conference was held on 6th July, 2011 at Wenzhou Int'l Convention and Exhibition Center. The conference was hosted by Mr. Liang Enhui, President of Zhejiang American Glasses Co., Ltd., retail purchasers made speeches on the development of NOSA, the achivements of the 1st and 2nd National Optical Strategy Alliance Matchmaking Conference, the ideas and direction of cooperation. The conference strengthened the cooperation between alliance members and exhibitors, provided potential business opportunities.
♣ Business Trip to Zhejiang Center Group Co., Ltd.
Business trip to Zhejiang Center Group Co., Ltd. provided a great opportunity for international buyers and association guests to know the enterprises more directly and closely. Leading by Mr. Yang Xumai, Secretary General of Wenzhou Glasses Chamber of Commerce, there are more than 20 guests joined this activity, including President Daicao Qimei, Vice President Chen Lixia, Vice President Zheng Zhenglin and Ex-President Wu Haiying from Hongkong Optical Manufacturers Association, and 6 foreign buyers from America and Korea. Through the trip, buyers could have a whole idea of the production ability and production quality, production line and management of Center Group. And Center Group could keep in touch with more buyers for potential orders.
♣ Domestic Optical Retailers Symposium
The symposium was held on 6 July, 2011 at Wenzhou Guomao Grand Hotel. Themed on "Strengthen Communication, Promote Development", the symposium attracted 20 participants, including Mr. Qin Liguo (President of Heilongjiang Glasses Association), Mr. Lu Qin (President of Hangzhou Glasses Association), Mr. Mei Dihua (Ningbo Glasses Association), Mr. Chen Yimin (President of Sub-Chamber of Stores of Wenzhou Glasses Chamber) and other leaders. All participants expressed their ideas and talked about the future development direction of optical retailers. The symposium was held under a very active and cheerful atmosphere and participants benitifed a lot from it.
♣ The 3rd Stock Glasses Wholesales
The Stock Glasses Wholesales is held annually and each year it could attract many exhibitors and buyers to attend in. Stock Glasses Wholesales provided a different sales channels and trade platform for exhibitors. On another hand, Stock Glasses Wholesales offered an opportunity for visitors and traders, who wanted to buy samples in much more cheaper price and get close to the factories. Meanwhile, fashion and high quality products were also exhibited in the Wholesale Zone to meet the pruchasing demand of retailers.
