- Buffalo-Niagara Falls, NY (1888PressRelease) January 26, 2012 - The Western New York Association of College Career Centers, Inc. (WNYACCC) launched its new website www.wnyaccc.org with 360 Professional Services Group.
WNYACCC is a not-for-profit organization comprised of career development professionals spanning a network of 19 accredited colleges and universities across the Western New York region.
Founded in 1968, as the Niagara Frontier College Placement Association, as a forum for collaboration and professional development among the area's college career development offices, WNYACCC has connected the region's employers with thousands of graduates from member colleges for more than 40 years.
In need of a website to simplify the communication process between employers and local career development offices, the graphic designers at 360 PSG provided a clean and user-friendly design, making it easy for WNYACCC members, employers, and students to locate the employment resources that they desire online.
360 PSG's programmers custom developed two password-protected login areas for the new site: one for WNYACCC members that is exclusive to career center professionals, and one for employers. These protected areas allow employers to upload career opportunities for access by WNYACCC members, who may then retrieve the listings and distribute them to students through their institution's career centers.
WNYACCC's website operates on the Fission Web System, which contains built-in search engine optimization tools that have the potential to increase search engine ranking and improve visibility online.
Using the Fission Content Management System (CMS), WNYACCC has the ability to create, edit, and update an unlimited number of content pages from any computer with internet access at any time.
WNYACCC's new site is hosted on 360 PSG's secure servers at their business class datacenter in downtown Buffalo, NY.
