WLCI College - Goa Campus celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2011
The students of WLCI College (Goa Campus) celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2011.The entire function was organized by the students of the first year. Ms Deepika Metri and Mr Vipin Bhuvanendran were the hosts for the day.
- (1888PressRelease) January 21, 2012 - Ms Deepika Metri briefed everyone on the various aspects of this grand festival explaining how Christmas is a festival of love, wherein we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and understand the true value of humanity and being human.
Everyone had loads of fun, there were many games that were played including the musical chair, and to add some sweetness to this occasion Christmas cake was cut. Later, Sir Sanjiv Hade the Campus Director spoke a few words in relation to the celebration of Christmas. There was also a song sung by Ms Pooja Jangam. A sumptuous lunch was also served.
Prizes were given to the winners of the contests along with Christmas gifts which were given to all the students present at the campus. It was total fun celebrating Christmas where everyone equally took part in the festivity. Finally the day ended with a vote of thanks given by Ms Deepika Metri, wherein she thanked all the members and specially the second year students for the pleasant Christmas decoration at the campus.
