WiTech WROP access and service management platform is now interoperable with Alvarion's WiMAX 802.16e 4Motion(R) solution
WiTechs.p.a. today announced the completion of interoperability testing of WiTech WROP access and service management platform (www.wropcloud.com) with Alvarion's 4Motion solution (www.alvarion.com).
- (1888PressRelease) September 08, 2010 - Milan - WiTech, a leading solutions and services company active in the Next Generation Networks and Services scenario, today announced the completion of interoperability testing of WiTech WROP access and service management platform (www.wropcloud.com) with Alvarion's 4Motion solution (www.alvarion.com).
WiTech WROP is the the first commercial open source vendor-independent access and service management platform, WiMAX standard-compliant, that implements advanced features for subscriber and service management, such as network access control, services definition and delivery, services rating and billing. It can be also delivered in the SaaS modality as Managed Services, requiring neither any hardware and software local installation nor any specific technological know-how.
Alvarion 4Motion solution, designed as an open standard with high interoperability, represents the foundation of Alvarion's open network ecosystem. In detail, 4Motion solution, and other best-of-breed systems, provides a complete ecosystem at the network level.
The successfully completed integration effort demonstrates that WiTech WROP works with Alvarion's 4Motion solution. Thus, WiTech WROP together with 4Motion represents a cost-effective solution that allows operators to quickly and easily set up the network with greater flexibility and limited efforts.
