Now in its fourth year, The Eastbourne Wedding Spectacular took place on January 4th and 5th at Eastbourne's Winter Gardens.
(1888PressRelease) January 17, 2014 - The event was a great opportunity for brides and grooms-to-be to find out more about local suppliers, and attracted thousands of visitors over the two days.
The Eastbourne Wedding Spectacular first took place in 2011, and is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the most popular and best-attended wedding shows in the South East. With fashion shows, prize draws and a huge range of wedding services and suppliers exhibiting at the Winter Garden, this well-known South East wedding event has gone from strength to strength since its launch. Not only does it showcase local suppliers and help happy couples to design their perfect wedding, but it encourages visitors to Eastbourne and shows those who attend just what a beautiful seaside town it is.
A whole host of local wedding businesses took part in the event, providing couples with the opportunity to talk through their wedding plans and find the right suppliers for the occasion. Visitors had the chance to win a range of prizes, including a wedding dress plus suit hire from Bustles & Bows of Hastings and Ann-Marie Bridal of Little Common, one night's accommodation at The Star Hotel in Alfriston, and the chance to win the services of a wedding planner for the big day, courtesy of the One Stop Wedding Shop. Catwalk shows took place three times each day to showcase a range of wedding apparel from local businesses, and plenty of money was raised for charity Help For Heroes over the course of the weekend.
For the Shore View Hotel, it was a great opportunity to meet other local businesses and to help to celebrate the local area. A spokesperson for the Shore View Hotel said, "The Eastbourne Wedding Spectacular was a great success, with over 120 exhibitors and a huge number of satisfied visitors. The Shore View Hotel only opened in April 2013, meaning that this was our first chance to enjoy the event. We were very impressed with the way that it was run, and it is great that the town hosts events such as the Wedding Spectacular which really put Eastbourne on the map. We are looking forward to the 2015 Eastbourne Wedding Spectacular already!"
