The CSN840 has made its mark as being the best of the best when it comes to automatic pallet measuring and its recent win at the SITL International Week of Transport and Logistics Fair is further confirmation. Out of 34 competition entries, Ludovic Talleux from Mettler-Toledo France proudly accepted the 1st place prize.
The Judges' Verdict
The judges were particularly impressed with the system's speed and ability to capture and process data of palletised goods including pallets with complex geometrical form. The judges felt that the multiple benefits of the CSN840 boast promising monetary and environmental returns.
Winning Features
As the first fully approved pallet dimensioning, weighing and identification solution, the CSN840 can measure pallets of all shapes and surfaces. Some of its winning features included the XL version of the CSN840 capable of measuring pallets up to 2500 x 2500 x 2600 mm (L x W x H), image capture, taring - a function that separates the load from the pallet, and remote access.
