Winner Of PJ's Coffee Vietnam Barista Competition For Amateurs 2017
Mai Thi Diem - a marketing officer of Dai Quang Minh Corporation is the winner of PJ's Coffee Vietnam Barista Competition 2017.
- (1888PressRelease) March 28, 2017 - PJ's Coffee Vietnam today conducted its final round of the Barista Competition for Amateurs 2017, a battle between top 4 competitors who have completed in a series of preliminary competitions that began in March. Mai Thi Diem - a marketing officer of Dai Quang Minh Corporation is the winner of the competition who is rewarded a Da Lat trip and a professional Barista training course from Saigon Coffee Academy.
The finalists were judged on both technical quality and taste by a panel of judges that included experts and representative of PJ's Coffee Vietnam. Four competitors in the final round engaged in a battle which they had to prepare a cup of Espresso with Latte art while answering questions about coffee theory from judges.
"It's not easy at all to become a barista. I can't believe that I'm the winner of this competition. Thanks to the PJ's Coffee Vietnam Barista Competition, I now can prepare a great cup of Espresso for myself and enhance my knowledge about coffee, which I really appreciate." - Mai Thi Diem, the winner of Barista Competition 2017 said.
Prior to the competition, each competitor had a chance to learn about the coffee-making process and practice their Latte Art skills with guidance from PJ's Coffee barista. The Barista Competition for Amateurs 2017 was organized by PJ's Coffee Vietnam aiming to encourage people to learn more about coffee culture.
