- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) June 22, 2020 - Lo-fi hip hop track wind by NTRLY feat. hjarta will be released on June 23rd. Wind is the first of a series of singles to be released over the next few months.
NTRLY (lo-fi hip hop stage name of Italian rapper Martin Basile) is not new to the genre: think of the album "Solitunes" and the singles "Sadness + Public Transport" and "Self Isolation". hjarta, on the other hand, is a lo-fi first timer with an acapella experience (Spritz for Five) and a series of pop-like releases over the last few years (Le Ambulanze, Ipertesto, Dentro, Let a Boy Cry).
NTRLY and hjarta first met in 2014 on the occasion of X Factor Italy and have already collaborated over the years: backvocals on 2017 All You Can Eat are hjarta’s; Martin Basile, in turn, has written and shot hjarta’s videoclips.
Unlike NTRLY’s previous tracks, all instrumental, wind includes hjarta’s lyrics and singing.
Wind is being published by ⟪ π ṽ ş ⟫, a label by international lo-fi hip hop artist Pueblo Vista. The talented Ihaveaface and eugenio izzi have been published by ⟪ π ṽ ş ⟫, too.
Both NTRLY and hjarta have announced wind is the first of a series of weather-themed singles to be released shortly.
