Bristol Motor Speedway in Friday nights' Food City 250.
- (1888PressRelease) August 31, 2011 - Scott Wimmer again didn't disappoint at the famed Bristol Motor Speedway in Friday nights' Food City 250. Starting the #40 Extremebidder.com Key Motorsports Chevrolet Impala in the 37th position, Wimmer had two goals for the race, move forward and keep his nose clean. Wimmer was able to accomplish both on the night as he moved up 13 spots from his starting grid position to finish in 24th place.
Wimmer states; "I really want to thank Extremebidder.com for supporting us this weekend, they are a great new company that I think will go far with their penny auction site as they continue to grow and stand out as the place to go to get great deals on all sorts of products we all use on a daily basis."
Joel Kleiber of Extremebidder.com states that in the first month since they've launched the site they have already exceeded 1000 members and growing. The company is looking to stand out from the pack of similar auction sites by not just having electronics, but all sorts of products the normal consumer could use from jewelry, appliances to cars and everything in between.
Wimmer was able to hold onto his 22nd position in the Drivers' Championship as Curtis Key inched closer to the coveted Top-30 Team Owner Points position, now just four points out and looking to gain that spot this weekend in Atlanta.
