Wilson's 'Orchesis' Student Dance Ensemble to Perform April 20 and 21
The Wilson College modern dance ensemble, Orchesis, will present its annual spring concert on Friday and Saturday, April 20 and 21, in Wilson's Appenzellar-Buchanan Dance Studio. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a Saturday matinee at 1 p.m. followed by question-and-answer session with the choreographers and dancers.

Orchesis was founded at Wilson in 1942 under the direction of Roberta Jones to further the liberal arts education and encourage young women to explore ideas through movement. Today, the ensemble is under the direction of Kellinger, a dancer and choreographer who produces her own work and guest teaches abroad.
Founded in 1869, Wilson College is a liberal arts college dedicated to the education of women. Affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and located in Chambersburg, Pa.
