- (1888PressRelease) June 14, 2016 - Details: Willig, Williams & Davidson attorney Kristine A. Phillips will serve as a panelist for Philadelphia VIP's annual Summer Pro Bono Program which educates law students about the critical legal needs of low-income Philadelphians.

Participants will discuss the importance of pro bono service with judges from the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Bar Association leadership, and VIP Board Members; hear directly from Philly VIP clients and volunteer attorneys; and learn about the various opportunities Philly VIP offers its volunteers to pursue legal justice for Philadelphians in need.
Registration is $25, but the fee will be waived for those seeking employment or for those that are employed in non-paying summer positions. To register, visit Philly VIP's website.
Founded in 1981, Philly VIP promotes equal justice for the poor by providing civil legal services not otherwise available, collaborating with other legal services organizations and promoting a culture of volunteerism by educating and exposing attorneys and law students to issues of poverty.
