Willig, Williams & Davidson Attorney Presents at Workers' Compensation CLE
Marianne H. Saylor speaks at the Philadelphia Bar Association.
- (1888PressRelease) November 12, 2016 - Marianne Henry Saylor, of Pennsylvania labor, employment, and workers' compensation firm Willig, Williams & Davidson, was a featured speaker in a recent program with the Philadelphia Bar Association called "Fee Reviews and Utilization Reviews - An Overview of What You Need to Know."
Hosted by the Workers' Compensation Section on Oct. 14, the program covered the basics of utilization reviews, medical fee reviews and how best lawyers can help claimants in a workers' compensation situation. Utilization Review is usually used by insurance companies in workers' compensation cases. However, the claimant can also obtain pre-approval for treatment with the review. Medical Fee Review is procedure in Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation law to review the amount and timeliness of a payment of a work-related medical expense. Both concepts are becoming increasingly more important in Pennsylvania workers' compensation cases.
A partner at Willig, Williams & Davidson, Saylor is a knowledgeable and trusted Workers' Compensation attorney in Pennsylvania. She is one of only about 50 lawyers in Philadelphia who are certified in workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers' Compensation Law Section. She provides extensive counseling and vigorous representation to her clients, appearing before Administrative Law Judges and the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board as well as the Pennsylvania Commonwealth and Supreme Courts.
