Broadcasting live from the legendary Canters Deli "Kibitz Room" in Hollywood every Friday at 3pm PST, listeners and viewers experience the finest live music from The Tales House Band, which includes some of rock's most renowned musical artists like our musical director, Scott Page of Pink Floyd and Supertramp fame, and also Italian guitar virtuoso JP Cervoni (Buddy Miles/The Gypsy Experience).
On this week's show Willie Basse interviews Rock n Roll Royalty featuring ROBERT SARZO. You know him from the rock band, Hurricane, and the TV Show, Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp. However Robert is the brother of Ozzy Osborne/Quiet Riot/ Whitesnake and now Queensryche bassist, Rudi Sarzo. They came to the USA from Cuba with nothing and have a very interesting story. Robert and Willie Basse were actually on the original crew with Dave Weiderman that opened The Guitar Center store in Sherman Oaks, CA, as well as label mates on the same record label, Enigma Records during the infamous Sunset Strip Era. Robert also scored the successful film, Chainsaw Massacre and has some interesting new projects, including promoting a major non-profit concert to support Cancer Research!
Willie will also interview OLIVIA BARASH who was in the cult classic movie, Repo Man. Olivia was on TV shows Fame, Charlie's Angels and Little House on the Prairie. No stranger to the Kibitz Room, Olivia has played the Tuesday Night Jam at Canter's with Jacob Dylan and Queens of The Stone Age guitarist Josh Homme.
The show will also cover Current News & Events, Concert Calendar, Cultural Entertainment, lost secrets and stories of Hollywood's legacy. Tales From The Sunset Strip will broadcast live on the www.twintalkcast.com network. Episodes will be available on iTunes and posted on YouTube.
