William Peace University To Host 2011 Alumni Homecoming And Reunion Weekend
Alumni Invited To Attend An All-Class Homecoming, Reunion And Family Weekend.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) October 20, 2011 - William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, will host the 2011 alumni homecoming and reunion weekend Friday, Oct. 28 through Sunday, Oct. 30. The weekend will kick off with a President's Circle Society reception on campus in Main Parlor on Friday, Oct. 28 at 5:30 p.m. Saturday activities include a Golfers Outing to North Carolina State University's Lonnie Poole Golf Club at 9 a.m., a family "Lunch on the Lawn" with collegiate entertainment at noon, a Pacer Volleyball Double-Header against Mary Baldwin College at noon and Methodist University at 4 p.m., the Turkey Trot 5K Race at 1:30 p.m., the Class-y Cocktails & Reunion Pinnings at 6 p.m., and the BIG BASH "Pig Pickin" with music and dancing at 7 p.m. The weekend will come to a close with chapel service featuring the Peace Singers with memorial tributes on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 9 a.m.
