Wildlife photo exhibition and conference at Dolmaar Resort Nainital
A Wildlife awareness conference and photo exhibition was held by Wild Tuskers Society at Dolmaar Resort Nainital. Photographers and Wildlife activist from all parts of India participated.
- (1888PressRelease) June 12, 2011 - A Wildlife photo exhibition & conference was held by Wild Tuskers Society office at Dolmaar Resort Nainital. Photographers and Wildlife activist took part from all parts of Country.
In this Event school children were told about importance of saving Wildlife. Reptile expert Mr. Praveen Maharaj also demonstrated with a spectacled cobra. He explained misconceptions about reptiles and what to do in case of snake bite.
Wildlife Expert during their stay at Dolmaar Resort sited more than 90 species of birds just in 3 days and in a diameter of 2 km. According to them hundreds more species are yet to be identified in the area.
Mr. Siddhant Kirola president of Wild Tuskers Society on this event proposed to identify and document all the birds in the area. He said that Wild Tuskers Society will demand for declaring this area as Bird Sanctuary to which chief guest of the event Mr. Kapil Joshi (Conservator Forest) agreed upon and promised for every possible help.
Mr. Haseeb Shaikh, Mr. Praveen Maharaj, Mr Tejas Soni & Quershi Tariq specially helped in this event in identifying birds and awareness program for school children.
All members and supporters of Wild Tuskers passed a resolution to work together with collective strength for Wildlife in their respective area under the banner of Wild Tuskers Society.
