Just Announced! Wild Thyme Deli and Café in Marina have teamed up with Serendipity Farms to be a CSA pick up location! Pick up days are every Monday at the deli from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m
- Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2012 - For 10 years, Wild Thyme Deli and Café in Marina has united East Coast "comfort foods" with West Coast organic and fresh cuisines. Offering a delicious menu of sandwiches, salads and desserts; roasted meats and chickens, all items are made fresh on-site every day using only the finest ingredients.
Today Wild Thyme Deli and Café announced they have teamed up with Serendipity Farms to be a CSA pick up location. Wild Thyme is the only Marina location that Serendipity currently drops off too. Pick up days are every Monday at the deli from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per week and you can sign up for 13, 16 or 32 weeks if pick up. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) provides people with a weekly box of fabulous produce all grown in Carmel and Carmel Valley. Serendipity Farms is now taking subscriptions for the 2012 season for weekly shares of certified organic vegetables, fruit and flowers.
How to Become Member - Pay Serendipity Farms in advance for a 'share' of the farm's seasonal harvest. Your purchased share helps their farm pay for pre-harvest expenses such as seed, fertilizer, and labor and is also a guaranteed outlet for the produce we are growing.

Every week the CSA box is unique- it has at least one new weekly item and a generous mix of seasonal vegetables and herbs. All produce is grown on our organic farms in Carmel & Carmel Valley! The CSA is a one box size, and it will typically feed a 2-4 people for a week, depending on how much of your diet is produce.

Just a reminder in honor of our 10th Anniversary, from January - December 2012, Wild Thyme will donate 10% of all catering proceeds from jobs that total $100 or more to one of these five charities: CASA of Monterey County, Kinship Center, Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP), Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (POMDR) and SPCA. Simply place an order for $100 or more and you get to select where your donation goes from on to these four charities.
