Wigwam Holidays travelled all the way down to Cornwall to deliver two brand new wigwams® to Ruthern Valley Wigwams. The site has been awarded a David Bellamy Conservation Scheme "Gold Award" and is sure to appeal to adults and children alike from all walks of life.
- (1888PressRelease) July 07, 2010 - Last week saw Wigwam Holidays head far afield to the deep South West of the country. Ruthern Valley to be precise. Home of the Eden project, Rick Stein, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and not least the Cornish pasty; Cornwall now plays host to two brand new five berth wigwams®.
Set in the beautiful Ruthern Valley, not far from the famous Bodmin Moor, Andrew and Nicky Johnston will offer you a big West Country welcome at Ruthern Valley wigwams®.
"We heard about the wigwams® through the internet and had to find out more" said Andrew, "when we saw the cabins on the website we just knew they were exactly what we were after as an environmentally friendly alternative to caravans. We particularly liked the attention given to the interior design offering luxury camping on sleeping platforms which can then be dismantled to become comfy sofas by day. We also really liked the simple but effective kitchen unit".
Andrew and Nicky have a background in yacht charter so it's no surprise that they fell for the nautical lines of the all wooden wigwams®. Wigwams® truly are the ultimate camping cabin which offer a comfortable and hassle free way to camp for all the family. Being heated, double glazed, fully insulated and built from sustainable sourced home grown timber, they are guaranteed to be a big hit with campers of all ages and walks of life.
The eco-friendly nature of the wigwams® is right in keeping with Ruthern Valley which has been awarded a David Bellamy Conservation Scheme "Gold Award" for the eighth year running. To make your stay at Ruthern Valley wigwams even more comfortable, other onsite facilities are provided including an eco-friendly shower block which provides solar powered hot water for showers, washing up and laundry.
Ruthern Valley wigwams® offers a beautiful setting for your Cornish vacation and everyone, old and young, is sure to love the natural woodland that surrounds Ruthern Valley wigwams®. The area is perfect for woodland walks and for the more enthusiastic hiker, there are also several trails nearby including the South West Coast Path and the 'Saints Way'. Cyclists won't be disappointed either and can join onto the Cornish Way Cycle Trail. As Ruthern Valley is very centrally located it offers easy access to all the big attractions including the world renowned Eden project which is only a 20mins drive away. Check out the surf conditions for easy access to both north and south coasts and enjoy surfing at Meccas like Polzeath, Harlyn and Watergate Bay (home to Jamie Oliver's "fifteen restaurant").
The Johnston's are delighted with their new wigwams®, "We have enjoyed working with Wigwam Holidays and appreciated their very personal service, it was fantastic seeing the wigwams® finally arrive" says Andrew. The Wigwam Holidays ethos of great value and back to nature fun fits effortlessly with Ruthern Valley's gorgeous rural location and the perfect way to visit the great outdoors and have an adventure!
