WI-Mortgage.com joins Green-E Energy Initiative
WI-Mortgage.com has joined a program aimed at conserving energy. The program is designed to promote the conservation of energy by businesses.
- Madison, WI (1888PressRelease) May 17, 2011 - The U.S. Department of Energy estimates that the typical office building uses roughly 68 percent of its energy on lighting and office equipment. WI-Mortgage.com has joined the initiative in conserving energy by improving the environment by making the office more energy-efficient.
Some of the ways WI-Mortgage.com has started with the initiative is by purchasing and using ENERGY STAR equipment, installing occupancy sensors that automatically turn lights on and off depending on occupancy, turning lights off when the office is not in use, and turning off computers and peripherals during non-business hours.
