Whispering Hills in Barnegat Sells Out 2011 Inventory
Walters Homes Offers Buyers Sweet Deals on New Townhouses.
- Monmouth-Ocean, NJ (1888PressRelease) August 23, 2011 - Walters Homes has sold out its current inventory of eco-friendly townhouses at Whispering Hills. Pre-construction sales are currently underway on six units in Building 10, slated for construction in October 2011.
"The demand for new construction, coupled with spacious design, environmentally friendly construction, and low mortgage rates is what's pushing the success of Whispering Hills," said Rick Saparito, sales associate. "Buyers can take advantage of sweet deals in this market. But if building costs begin to rise, it will impact the price of homes next year."
To take advantage of current pricing, Walters Homes is offering buyers the opportunity to purchase new units to be delivered in the spring 2012 at today's prices. As an added incentive, buyers who make a deposit by September 30 are also offered a free finished basement and half bath.
Situated on 85 wooded acres, the planned community will encompass 258 units when completed. To date, 67 units have been constructed, consisting of three bedrooms and two baths, with two-story floor plans ranging from 1,909 square feet to 2,191 square feet. Finishing the basement will bring the living space to more than 2,400 square feet. Priced from $219,920 to $240,220, the townhomes include one and two-car garage models. In addition, four townhouse models are open for tours. Whispering Hills is located off Rose Hill Road, between Barnegat Boulevard and Route 9.
The entire development is designed with energy conservation in mind. New townhouses are equipped with Energy Star appliances as well as a long list of standard features. The townhouses are registered with a certification goal of LEEDŽ Silver, making them more energy efficient than conventional non-green homes.
A valuable community amenity is the project's desirable location adjacent to the Barnegat Branch Rail Trail Bikeway, a 15.6-mile former rail line. The trail is being developed in phases, extending from Barnegat Township to Toms River. When completed, it will be among the longest trails in the state. The project is envisioned to be more than a recreational park, it will serve as an environmental and historical resource for the county, according to the Ocean County Department of Planning.
Whispering Hills is also located near beaches, fine shopping, dining, and major highways. Residents enjoy proximity to two major cities, Philadelphia to the west and New York City to the north, while having the benefit of coastal living.
