Westchester Pac House Theater Exceeds Expectations
New Rochelle's PAC House Theater offers community a stellar list of top name performers.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) February 01, 2012 - Located in downtown New Rochelle, the PAC House Theater, the City's latest cultural space plays host to musical and theatrical performances. Their most recent concerts with the Blues Mothers, Helen Sung's Electric Company and the Spare Change Comedy show caught audiences off guard. Expectations were exceeded in a theater which has been dormant for the past five years.
The PAC House Theater resides in the 150 year old historic landmark of Trinity St. Paul's Parish House located at 311 Huguenot Street. The theater seats 100+ guests and is becoming a destination spot for locals and neighboring towns seeking entertainment. Surrounded my many new restaurants and cafes, owners of the establishments are pushing the theater to drive more diners to the area.
February's scheduled line up answers that call. On February 11th, KJ Denhert (Westchester) a singer, songwriter and guitarist performs with an acclaimed group of musicians. On February 18th, five NYU Tisch School MFA students take the stage and present a theater festival of short plays titled; Black is the New Black, a celebration of black playwrights. Show time 3pm and 7:30pm. Donation $15 Adults and $10 students. Reserve at SmartTix (212)-868-4444.
February 25th at 3pm is a reading of an original play The Cupcake Conspiracy by Westchester's C.J. Ehrlich and Philip J. Kaplan. The play is titled. Free to the public. RSVP required.
