Westchester Artist David Tobey to Exhibit Paintings at Grand Opening of new "3NY Boutique" at "The Westchester" in White Plains September 24th
The Westchester in White Plains is holding a grand opening party on September 24th for a new member of its family of upscale womens wear fashion brands -- 3NY Boutique. The opening celebration will also include an exhibition of more than a dozen paintings by the well-known native Westchester artist David Tobey, whose exhibition there will continue through the end of October.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 19, 2015 - The Westchester, an upscale fashion center and expansive retail destination for fashion, discovery and community at Westchester Avenue and Bloomingdale Road in White Plains, New York; anchored by Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, recently welcomed 3NY Boutique, a brand catering to New York City's fashion gurus, to its world-class line-up of stores. The opening marks the retailer's first outpost in Westchester in a 2,383 square foot space in the Neiman Marcus wing on Retail Level Three.
A grand opening celebration is taking place on Thursday, September 24 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. During this invitation only event, professional violinist, painter, sculptor and Westchester native David Tobey will be the featured artist, showcasing his Imaginaries III exhibition, a collection of abstract paintings specifically chosen to enhance 3NY's collection of designer women's wear that will be on display. The Tobey exhibition will run at the boutique through the end of October.
Artist David Tobey holds an MA in art from The College of New Rochelle, and in music he is a graduate of The Music Conservatory of Westchester, The Juilliard School in New York, and a founding member and regularly performing violinist with the Westchester Philharmonic. He has had dozens of solo and many more group exhibitions of his art in New York City and in the tri-state metro area, and his art has been published in books and as prints.
